Located in the historic urban fabric of Tartu, Estonia, this proposal creates a 20,000 m² cultural center that mediates the complex relationship between diverse institutional programs and the city. Moving beyond static building forms, the project functions as a “heterogenous mixture” driven by three performative typologies: Fields (structural matrices), Figures (iconic volumes), and Flows (vectoral circulation). The design weaves these elements into a unified urban system, fostering new forms of collective interaction while respecting the distinct identity of the library, museum, and event spaces.
